Reading the weight rows: a dog weighing exactly 20 lb uses the Up to 20 lb row. A dog weighing 20.5 lb uses the Over 20 through 40 lb row.
Dogs over 80 lb: every service is quoted individually after Ally learns about your dog. She will let you know whether it’s a good fit.
Coat, not breed. Your dog’s coat decides which column applies. Poodles and doodles use the curly or dense column when their coat calls for it, with no separate breed surcharge.
Your estimate may be higher than the starting price if your dog needs:
We quote known extra work up front, before your appointment is booked.
If something comes up during the appointment: if Ally finds work that would go beyond your agreed price, she will ask you first. She will explain the extra time and cost and give you a maximum. Approved additional work is $20 per additional 15 minutes. We never charge twice for the same work. We never charge for ordinary delays on our side. If Ally can’t reach you, she won’t go beyond the agreed service or price. She’ll finish what she safely can within it and talk through options with you at pickup.
Severe matting: brushing out severe matting can be uncomfortable or unsafe for a dog. In that case, Ally may recommend a shorter trim, stop the groom, or suggest another option.

Whichever column matches your dog’s coat. Many doodle coats are curly or dense and use that column. Ally confirms when she sees your dog. There is no extra doodle fee.

Full grooms often take about 2 to 3 hours. Ally gives you an expected pickup time when you drop off.
It depends on the coat and how it’s cared for at home. Ally can suggest a schedule after a visit.
